Drusilla Rose

Hi, I'm Rosie.

Drusilla Rose is the name I write under. I'm an Australian GP registrar, writer and occasional artist with an unreasonable number of interests and a longstanding fascination with human behaviour.

I write stories about people trying their best with incomplete instructions. Some are funny. Some are uncomfortable. Quite a few are both.

When I'm not writing, there's usually paint on something that wasn't supposed to have paint on it.

A note from the desk

There are probably easier ways to understand people.

But where's the plot in that? Here you'll find messy characters, uncomfortable truths, tenderness in strange places, and humour that occasionally arrives at entirely the wrong moment.
