GP Study: Educational Disclaimer
GP Study is an independent, informal learning resource for people studying Australian general practice. It supports revision and clinical reasoning. It is not for deciding treatment for a particular patient.
How the questions are made
Questions and explanations are drafted with AI assistance. The facts that decide each answer are checked against the cited published sources, also with AI assistance, and each question shows when that check was done. That check is not a clinician review: no question has been independently reviewed by another clinician. A question will say so if that ever changes.
A reference is not a guarantee of accuracy, and guidelines change. Please check current Australian guidelines and use your own professional judgement before applying anything in practice.
What GP Study is not
GP Study is not affiliated with, approved by or endorsed by the RACGP, Ahpra or any other examining body. Its questions are not official examination questions, and using it does not guarantee examination results or provide CPD accreditation.
Privacy
Please do not enter patient-identifying or confidential information into GP Study or send it by email. See the Privacy Policy for what the optional Remember feature stores in your browser.
Found a mistake?
Tell me at hello@drrosiesdesk.com and include the question ID if you can (the "Report an issue with this question" link under each explanation fills it in for you). I will correct or withdraw the question.
